Miss Maycee Grace :)

So I got a new camera lens, and everyone that knows me knows how much I LOVE taking pictures of the girls. SOOOOOOOOOOO when I finally had a free afternoon last week I took some pictures of Miss Maycee Grace. I could have taken pictures all day long, if I could have!!! She looked sooo peaceful, so calm....she was the perfect subject!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE little baby toes!!! Just can't get enough of them!!

This definitely was not one of the better pictures, but it was too cute because she actually has a slight smile on her face!!!

I got these onesie stickers for Maycee's first year. There is a sticker for each month, including this one "Just Born". It will be so neat to look back and see the progression from month to month! I wish they would have had these when I had Rayna (or I wish I would have realized they had them...if they did)! :)

Maycee opened her eyes for just a few seconds! Looks kind of dazed but cute!! :)

I just love her lips and pout!!!

Such a sweet, precious face!! ~~~>

It's hard to believe that she was that tiny, because even only 1 month later she seems like she has grown so much!!

This was Maycee's coming home outfit. A cute little onesie that said "So Loved" (obviously) and cute little brown pants.

I took this picture in the hospital, just a few hours before we came home! She was sleeping so peacefully that I hated to disturb her, but I was sure ready to take home my new bundle of joy!!

I found this hat on Etsy.com and thought it was the perfect hat for Maycee Grace since she was an Easter baby! Does she look precious in it or what??? I just want to pinch those little bunny cheeks!!

Rayna could hardly stand waiting once she spotted her Easter loot!! Right after I got ready for church, she HAD to tear into it right away!!

Maycee's Basket ~~~~~>

With a cute new sleeper and her

very own glow worm :)

Rayna's Easter basket, complete with Tinkerbell and Bambi (her favorites)!

Rayna had to put all of her Easter egg loot immediately into her piggy bank! She is such a good saver!!! I got some cool half dollars at the bank this year - she noticed they were different in size, but hopefully in a few years she'll be really interested in them :).

<~~~~~ ohhh Auntie - you're so silly!!

Dad, Susan and Maycee - too cute!! ~~~~~>

Daddy lifted Rayna up so she could get her Easter surprise that rode in on Grandpa's car! She couldn't believe that there was a duck sitting on top of Grandpa's car. As you can tell by her face, she was a tad excited to get her new duck :)!

The Easter duck's chariot - a bright, shiny blue Vibe :)

Rayna ran quickly back to her Easter basket each time she found an egg! It was too cute and I managed to get a few smiles on camera!!

Rayna had so much fun hunting eggs this year and it was sooooo fun to watch!! Can't wait to see both the girls in a couple years running and hunting eggs together!

Maycee Grace is here!!!

Maycee Grace surprised us a day early and arrived on April 6th, 2011! As I laid there, awaiting her arrival I was so ready to hear her cry for the first time!! Something about that moment is soooo incredibly special for me! As Andy and I waited patiently, the doctor finally said, "Here she is!" And there she was - after 9 long months of waiting (that truthfully flew by to be honest), and I couldn't wait to hold her for the first time! I heard a lot of "she's so cute" and "she looks great" as the nurses checked her over, and those words "she looks great" are everything you want to hear!! I am so thankful, so blessed, so happy - so many everythings - that I have gotten the chance to be a mommy of 2 precious little girls! I can't wait to watch them grow up (although I'm enjoying every single minute of right now with them)! I could not ask for a better husband to share all this with either. He is my everything, my best friend and THE BEST father to my little girls!!

Rayna is going to be the BEST big sister a girl could ask for! She has been so gentle, so kind with Maycee! She is constantly saying "fragile" when we are around her and when she is going to touch her. Also, she constantly wants to give her kisses and right after she gives her kisses, we must follow suit! I hope this bond continues and that she and her sister can be as close as me and my sister! Sisters truly can be the bestest of friends!!! :)

Here are a few pictures of Maycee Grace for you all to enjoy!! I can't wait for many photo opportunities to come :).

Spring Has Sprung - Let the FUN begin!!

I would have to say that I'll do another pre-birthday celebration anytime with her! It was so much fun and such a fun memory to make! I am going to be sure and scrapbook this in her memory book!!
She was acting SOOO silly!!

She was MORE than thrilled with herself! PRICELESS!!!
MAKE A WISH!!!
Happy Birthday to YOU! Happy Birthday to YOU!! Happy Birthday Dear Rayna!! Happy (early) Birthday to YOU!!

Our finished Tinkerbell Cake, complete with candles because YES...we DID have to sing Happy Birthday and blow out candles!!

We had to enlist the help of Daddy to help us "stir, stir, stir!!"

This is a funny story! Rayna is really into Tinkerbell these days, and one day her and I were laying in bed and talking about her upcoming birthday (yes, I'm a bit of a planner since it's not until July)! I mentioned - what if we had a tinkerbell cake?? She LOVED the idea and that's all she would talk about the rest of the night "Tinkerbell Cake!" WELL....lesson learned - a 2 1/2 year old may not realize that her birthday is not the next day, so you probably shouldn't mention things until they are in the IMMEDIATE future! I FELT TERRIBLE!!! SOooo...I came up with a plan to make a Tinkerbell cake of our own! She was such a big help and LOVED IT!

Rayna has BEAUTIFUL long blonde hair, but she hardly ever lets me do anything with it! I managed to get her to sit long enough where I could put in pigtails, but she HATED the idea of me trying to take a picture of her! hahahaha! I just think her expression is priceless here though!

She picked all the colors, personally, and looked so concentrated on each one! It is so amazing seeing her mind at work!!
We made homemade Valentine's this year! Rayna had SOOOO much fun, and she looked like such a pro painting them herself! She definitely got her momma's artsy bug!! <3>

How could you ever say no to those eyes? It's hard - REAL HARD!!!
