All Dressed Up!

Rayna Lynn LOVES to pick out her outfits for the day! She loves her "b's" (which means boots to her), and she LOVES to carry her purse! Lately she's been really liking to wear hats!! I think she just looks too cute for words!

A Little Fun in the Sun!!!

Rayna Lynn convinced Daddy to climb up into her swingset with her!! TOO PRECIOUS!!

Rayna Turns 2!!!!!!

Rayna Lynn was just a bit worn out after her BIG PARTY DAY!!!

A generation picture was a must!! What a great looking group of ladies!! :)

Grandma Hilbert came to celebrate!!

Let the FUN begin!!!

Rayna didn't quite know what to think of everyone singing to her! But we did it twice, because she realized she really liked it! She was nice enough to clap for us all at the end, too!! hahaha!

Mommy and Daddy got Rayna a kitchen for her birthday!! It may have been a bad idea to give it to her at the same time as the rest of her gifts because she was really preoccupied with checking out her new kitchen! I am glad that she likes it though :)

Rayna and Mammy playing with her new bubbles!!

Little Miss got her first tricycle from Uncle Joey, Aunt Gena and the kids!
SHE LOVES IT!!!! And she looked so cute trying it out for the first time!!
She loves to play with the bell especially!!

Little Miss's Minnie Cake ~~~~~~>

I had all of Rayna's favorites on hand for her birthday breakfast! How could it get much better than eggs, strawberries, and grapes?? Oh and let's not forget the side of sunblock, which had to sit down for breakfast with us!! As you can tell, I think that she was HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY with her birthday breakfast!!

Ending the trip with a group shot was a must!!
Thanks again to Uncle Steve and Aunt Jan for having us!
We truly had a BLAST!!!

Awww--the cuzzos :) ~~~~~~~~>

<~~~~Mar Mar and Spencer

Spencer made a new friend in Miss Layla! Rayna also really enjoyed hanging out with Layla during our stay! Layla and Rayna would chase one another around their house! TOO FUNNY to watch!
Auntie Jan, Rayna and Marcus :)

We had such a great time staying with Uncle Steve and Aunt Jan and Marcus! I really enjoyed catching up, and truly cherish the fun chats Auntie and I shared! Marcus joined us for some "Fun in the Sun" at the Wave pool the day before! Rayna did as well, but mommy forgot her camera in the car :(. It was sad to leave our little retreat in Michigan, but I am certain Michigan will be a future vacation spot for us :)!!!

We finished with the penguins. A nice end to the day! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~>>>

YEAH!!!!!! WE MADE IT!!! haha!

Rayna was such a good sport, and I think I captured a slight smile after this LONG, HOT DAY!!

Rayna's favorite was the Owl!

Poor girl - she was trying to be a good sport, but the heat and the messed up schedule were finally getting to us! I thought this "underground" aquarium was so neat!!

The White Rhino and the Meerkats were neat!!

Uncle Spencer made a friend....

And the Flamingos....

The Apes were neat!!

A dream is a wish your heart makes.........

Rayna was infatuated by the fountains (for a few minutes anyways...haha)!

I would have paid big money if they would have let us jump in the fountains! hahaha!

Just relaxing!

This bird is real ugly, butI thought that the camel in the background was cool!

hahaha...I'm trying to think of a catchy caption, but I am drawing a blank. Ohh well...Spencer and his friend turtle!

And our friend Tiger!!

MR TURTLE and FISHY FISHY!!!

And I thought this was kind of a fun tree, too! Hard to believe that they were both inside!

For some reason I thought that this tree was kind of cool!

Uncle found a friend - I'm kind of glad you can't see the snake in the tank because it sure was ugly! hahaha!

CHOMP IT!!!

CHOMP, CHOMP, CHOMP!!

Rayna enjoyed the alligator because she knew exactly what they do (CHOMP, CHOMP, CHOMP)
I thought the "garden lady" was funny! Just had to take a picture!

Uncle Spencer vacationed with us, and it was nice to spend some good quality family time! I think that he was just as excited to see the animals as Rayna was!

We arrived at the Detroit Zoo, and were anxious to check it out - despite the sweltering temperatures! Rayna was ready to see the "mammas"...and we hoped that there would be one!! She insisted on wearing her hat, which made mommy happy because then I knew we'd avoid a potential sunburn :).
